We are thrilled to announce the 2016 BC Studies Prize:
 
Winner: Sabina Trimble, “Storying Swílcha: Place-making and Power at a Stó:lõ Landmark,€  BC Studies no. 190, Histories of Settler Colonialism (Summer 2016).
 
Runner up: Thomas McIlwraith and Raymond Corimer,  “Making Place for Space: Site-specific Land Use and Occupancy Studies in the Context of the Supreme Court of Canada’s Tsilhqot’in Decision,” BC Studies no. 188 (Winter 2015/16) 
 

Recipients of the BC Studies Prize receive a specially-commissioned piece of art work by Musqueam artist Susan Point and will immediately be placed on Open Access on our OJS site.
