Norman Newton is an author and broadcaster. His book on the Haida, Fire in the Raven’s Nest, was published in 1973.

W. T. Stanbury, Associate Professor of Policy Analysis in the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of British Columbia, has published extensively on the province’s native Indians.
